The Fig Tree B&B is more than a traditional B&B in that it has been designed to offer the guest privacy and comfort as well as the warmth and hospitality of hosted accommodation.

Bathroom :

Each unit is fully equipped with it¿s own spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and full size vanity. Special features include heater, exhaust fan, safety power-point, hair dryer and extra large mirror.

Accommodation :

Ample built-in clothes hanging space is provided, supplemented by separate drawer storage and baggage storage. Bedside tables and individual reading lamps are provided on each side of the Queen size beds. Electric blankets are fitted and extra blankets and pillows are provided.

Eating :

A breakfast preparation bar is provided for your continental breakfast, along with toaster, electric jug, tea and plunger coffee facilities and utensils as well as a two person dining table. The adjacent kitchen has all of the cooking and preparation tools needed for you to fully self-cater during your visit.

Lounge :

A double settee allows you to sit and relax or watch television in comfort.

Special attention has been paid to acoustics, double wall thicknesses and insulation ensures that each room enjoys complete privacy.

Patio :

Each unit has a private patio complete with furniture so that you can fully enjoy the birdsong with your morning or evening coffee.

‘Possums Watch’ is a quality 3 bedroom fully self contained holiday cottage located within walking distance to the American River Wharf, picnic and BBQ facilities, the pristine Pelican Lagoon Reserve, Post Office and gift shop, General Store, restaurant,cafes, tennis courts, playground etc.

Tammar wallabies can be observed feeding at night near the Hall and Post Office. The property is in a bushland and sea view setting on one third of an acre where a range of birdlife visit during the day.

The rare Black Glossy Cockatoos feed on the casurarina trees at the rear of the property. In addition there are numerous other varitieties of native birds that can be observed from the deck. Pelicans can be observed along the foreshore and often sit on the lamp posts along the wharf. Black swans are active at most times of the day.
